That is the Big Question. What does it mean? 'Traditional Ecological Knowledge' means the knowledge of plants and animals held by Indigenous people in a specific area. (I remember the day my daughter walked into a jellyfish in the shallow water at Bamberton Beach, a long time ago. We were told by a local doctor that there were no dangerous jellyfish in these waters. I then shared the story to an Indigenous friend, who told me of at least three that he knew of that can be found in the area.) "Corroborate" means, provide proof of something. (The witnesses provided proof that it happened at Bamberton Beach. So they corroborated the story of my daughter.)
So the Big Question is, 'Is there knowledge of the local peoples that can provide evidence of a change in the climate?
